What we have here is a pineapple growing next to our front door. We grow several each year. It takes two years for a pineapple to grow and then the plant dies. If you live in a warm place you can grow one too. Just twist off the top of a pineapple you get at the store and put in dirt. Water now and then and in two years you can sample the sweetest fruit ever. Much better fresh than from the store.
