Florida Picture Gallery, What a picture!

This is a shot I took of a space shuttle launch from my front yard. The big red glow is from the rising sun and the smoke trail is from the shuttle boosters. One of the cool things about this launch is that just after I took this picture I heard a fluttering noise above me in the air, When I looked up I saw no less than 15 parachutist's floating down to the small airport about 1/2 a mile away. I found out from a guy at work that this is fairly common. Skydivers go up and jump just as the shuttle is launching. Some of them have cameras and they take pictures of each other in free fall with the shuttle launching in the background. Must make quite a picture. (This practice stopped after 9/11 because of extra security and no-fly zones expansion.)
